when customers take some of their precious time to praise
our products, services and, of course, our staff, we can
hardly be expected to keep it under our hat.

We purchased our condo
at Estero Beach and Tennis Club in 2000, but knew at the
time of purchase that we would need to do some upgrading.
For several years we did piecemeal work on various parts
of the condo, finally realizing that to stay competitive
we would need to renovate the 25 year old unit bringing
it up to the modern and decorative standards and quality
we wanted our rental guests to enjoy.
We started our search for a contractor by keeping our
eyes and ears open, talking to people. One contractor
stood out above others. We were introduced to Michael
Sooklaris, Island Life Construction, by a close friend
who was thinking of having Michael remodel his unit.
We tagged along with our friend as Michael took him
through the condos that he had already remodeled, and
we were stunned at the transformation that these already-completed
units had made with Michael's planning and workmanship.
We hired Michael that evening, even before our friend
had a change to grab him. We knew Michael would be busy
and wanted to make a commitment before others got to
him first.
With Michael's advice we decided on the extent of the
remodeling. We knew he was the expert and had completed
several identical units and would know what was appropriate
for the layout and square footage. He also was knowledgeable
of the Association regulations requiring certain preparations
to be done before work could begin. Together we set
the dates for the work to start and left town. We hope
this recommendation of Michael's work is an ample thank
you to him for the quality of his work, his thoroughness,
honesty and friendship. He is extremely easy to work
with and we have hired him for other projects which
he has fit into a busy schedule to help us out.

Beach Club. You are welcome to view our place. He was
always accessible-Day and Night-by cell phone-seven days
a week. He did what we requested and did it in an expedient
manner. It took less than 3 weeks. Helpful with his suggestions.
We were pleased with the end result and know that you

Dear Mike,
I wanted to thank you for the beautiful
remodel job you did on my condo on Ft Myers Beach. When
I called your company for an appointment I had little
idea of exactly what I wanted to do with the unit. When
you came to see the place and gave me your ideas as to
what the unit could look and presented me with all the
different scenarios that could go into a remodel job I
was amazed at how little I knew. You guided me through
the different steps for each room and the approximate
cost. You left little to worry about and explained each
and every step in a professional manner with expertise.
Your knowledge of the building industry is amazing. You
went step by step thru each room with exact detail. Your
kitchen designs took my old kitchen to a modern room with
beautiful cupboards and counter tops to the new energy
efficient appliances and brought it all together with
the flooring. The bathrooms were also out of date and
you designed those with exact detail bringing the finished
product to be more water cost effective and the new Florida
colors of today in the flooring and walls. As you went
from room to room showing me the new styles of this era
and how the little trim ideas and matching color schemes
and more traffic resistant flooring I was so grateful
to have someone helping me that showed a complete understanding
of the business. Every room in the condo looks like a
picture in a magazine. I could not be more happy with
your work and your designs and ideas. I also like your
business approach explaining the costs involved from the
lower end scale remodel to the higher end scale of a remodel
leaving the final decision to me. Your knowledge of every
aspect of the building/ construction/ remodel business
and your ability to make the finished product look exactly
as you described it will make any potential customer happy.
I would recommend your work to anyone and they can view
my condo for peace of mind if they have any apprehension.

Dear Angel,
Just wanted to thank you for a great renovation of my condo
on Fort Myers Beach. Your ideas and design of the kitchen
and bath have brought the unit into the 21st century. Thanks

Mike spoke
with us before our remodeling project began and gave us
a Fair bid - easily comparable or less than other companies.
Furthermore, he agreed to complete the project the way
that we wanted it and not the way that would have been
the easiest. In addition, he offered some very good ideas
that were beneficial to us. He has very creative ideas
and the abstract ability to see how things will look when
finished.
When he worked on the remodel, he was
diligent and did excellent work.
If there were changes to be made, he was willing to work
with us on the
changes. The fact that Mike is able to complete all of
the construction himself including wiring, plumbing, etc.
greatly speeds up the completion time of the construction.
His having remodeled several other condos in our complex
is beneficial since he knows what to expect and any problems
he may encounter.
After the project was completed, Mike
made a final inspection with us before we sat down to
work out the final costs. He was flexible in working with
us on choosing products allowing us to make changes and/or
upgrades to our liking. Mike adhered to his original bid
plus or minus the changes. He is pleasant to work with
and Nancy and I would recommend him your remodeling projects.
